A Message from our Principal


 

Welcome to the Barrington Middle School Website. We are a six through eighth grade middle school located on Narragansett Bay between Providence and Newport. With approximately 760 students assigned to nine teams, BMS has received national recognition for its outstanding test scores, creative interdisciplinary instruction, special education inclusion model, parent selection of programming, "hands-on science", flexible scheduling, gifted education, and "looping"- a new and exciting approach to middle level education.
