Homework and Curriculum Notes

Writing/Grammar:

All students are responsible for completing their daily class writing and grammar work.  Teamwork should not be completed as homework unless specifically assigned below.  Remember, homework should take approximately 20-30 minutes.  While you may work longer if you choose, please try to avoid getting frustrated and should it happen anyway, please stop at that point.  When the assignment is listed as On Your Own, you should review your previous homework and classwork and continue to work on those skill areas that you identified as needing additional practice.

Reading:

All students should have a class assigned story as well as a personal reading book that they should be reading.  Assigned stories should be read in anticipation of quizzes on both content and reading skills.  Time spent on personal or assigned reading should be added to your reading log.
