Monday: No School
Tuesday: 1) Scholastic book orders due by Friday - see documents below if you would like to order directly on line 2) study 23 helping verbs - quiz next week 3) students received a rubric for the bio-project today. Students should be working on the bio-poem and the poster about the bio-poem. The project complete with poster, poem, and rubric is due 9/21/10 4) FINISH QUESTIONS ON SUMMER READING THAT YOU WORKED ON IN READING CLASS - BRING TO READING CLASS TOMORROW
Wednesday: 1) begin reading mystery novel and plot notes 2) mystery novel needs to be read by October 6, 2010 (make a plan to read X pages per day) 3) Scholastic book order due Friday

Monday: 1) bring folders, agenda & notebook to class 2) Translate the quote into English and identify the author 3) mystery novel due in class on Wednesday 9/8/10 - no exceptions 4) SUMMER READING NOTES FOR BOTH TEXT DUE!!! 5) more information to come regarding the summer reading task
Tuesday: 1) Same as above 2) survey 3) Yellow cluster would sure appreciate tissues - sniffle, sniffle - as we enter the ragweed and flu seasons
Wednesday: 1) same as Tuesday 2) Scholastic book orders due on 9/10/10
Thursday: Students were introduced to the first project of the year: The Bio Project. Students may create a rough draft of the bio poem, if they wish. The rest of the project and project materials will be explained next week.
Friday: 1) Students should brgin a mystery novel to class Wednesday 9/8/10. Book must be at reading level and at least 100 pages. 2) Students may dabble with bio-poem 3) please return computer usage forms to homeroom teacher - if you have not done so yet.
