  • If you have not done so already, we do ask that you complete the form linked below so we can ensure we have accurate data in our student information system. 5 Day A Week In-Person

Arrival:

  • Students should arrive at BMS between 8:20 am and 8:40 am.  Students should not be on campus prior to 8:20 am in order to allow for proper social distancing and to avoid gathering in groups.

  • Students that are being dropped off will continue to enter through the side doors and bus students will continue to enter through the main entrance.

  • To help with the flow of traffic we ask that students with last names that begin with A-K arrive between 8:20 - 8:30am and students with last names that begin with L-Z arrive between 8:30 - 8:40am.

  • When dropping off your child, we ask that they be ready to exit the car with their mask on and that you pull all the way forward so that 8 cars can unload at a time.  This will help to expedite our drop off process.

Transition Between Classes (7th and 8th Grade):

  • To ensure efficient and a safe transition for students from class to class, we will be following a staggered transition schedule. When students transition we will still ask them to follow our hallway traffic patterns, as well as remain 3 feet apart from their classmates.

Transition Between Classes (6th Grade):

  • In the coming weeks, our hope is for our 6th graders to transition from class to class in their stable pods. We are going to put this on hold for a few weeks, in order to focus on the efficient and safe transition of our 7th and 8th graders.

Lunch (7th and 8th Grade):

  • We are happy to report that we have interviewed and recommended 6 lunch monitors

  • Due to the number of 7th and 8th grade students returning to 5 day a week learning, half of the cluster will be eating in the cafeteria, while the other half of the cluster will be eating in their classroom they are assigned to during their lunch period.

  • Students whose last name are A-K (Blue Group) will eat in the cafeteria on the Blue Group designated days (Tuesday, Wednesday, and alternating Mondays). Students whose last names are L - Z (Gold Group) will be eating in the classrooms on those days.

  • Students whose last names are L-Z (Gold Group) will eat in the cafeteira on the Gold Group designated days (Thursday, Friday, and alternating Mondays). Students whose last names are A - K (Blue Group) will be eating in the classrooms on those days.

  • Students who will be eating in the classrooms will be sitting 6 feet apart.

  • Students who are eating hot lunch in the classrooms will be required to complete a 7th/8th grade Hot Lunch Form by 9:30 am.  Lunches will be delivered to the classroom at assigned lunch times.

Dismissal:

  • In order to safely exit nearly all of our 6th graders and the number of in-person 5 day a week 7th and 8th graders on a daily basis, it is important that families plan accordingly to prevent long lines and students gathering together. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
