Clubs and clusters are encouraged to create posters and partake in Day Without Hate activities. Resources can be found here: http://daywithouthate.org/

~ BMS Spotlight on Learning ~

This week, we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on our DEIB Leadership Group members- PEARL (Mrs. Stephanie Bannon, Mrs. Kelsey Carroll, Mrs. Katie Goldman, Mrs. Kellie Polando, Dr. Tillotson) for leading such a powerful faculty meeting on the topic of intent, impact, and the importance of being interrupters. Great job, PEARL!

This week, we would like to shine a BMS Spotlight on Vishnu Lakshman, Ananth Dorai, Liam Sousa, Cole Estrella, Harry Brown, and Ela Er. These students participated in the year-long History Day Project and presented at the Rhode Island State History Day Competition at CCRI, last Saturday, April 27. Congratulations to them for their hard work throughout the process. (Nominated by Ms. Texeira)

This week, we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Mr. Mark Aubin. Mr. Aubin is such an asset to BMS! He is engaging, knowledgeable and passionate about the subject he teaches, and cares deeply for all of his students. He carefully plans out each lesson and uses humor to engage students throughout. He often comes to school early to work with students and is happy to help anyone in need. He starts each and every day with positive energy and a smile. Mr. Aubin encourages both students and staff on a daily basis and will go out of his way to brighten someone else’s day. BMS is so lucky to have Mr. Aubin! (Nominated by a member of our BMS Learning Community).

This week, we would like to shine our BMS Spotlight on Carter Blanchet. While a new student and his family were in the guidance office this afternoon waiting area, so was Carter Blanchet. While the boys were sitting there, the new student had many questions that Carter was very kind to answer. Carter showed so much kindness and answered all of the student’s questions about his new school.Great work Carter!

Do you know of a BMS Faculty/Staff/Student member who is shining bright? If you do, please complete the form below and we can include the nomination in an upcoming newsletter.
