BMS Connected Learning Newsletter: Mid-Summer Update 2022
The BMS Learning Community is Respectful, Responsible, and Ready to Excel!
Barrington Middle School’s Mission is to empower all students to excel in character, citizenship, collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking, so that they may positively impact the future.
Stay Connected with BMS:
Over the past several weeks, our BMS summer team has been hard at work finalizing cluster placements. We will be notifying our families and students via email on Monday, August 17, 2022 of our cluster placements for the 2022 - 2023 school year.
It is important to note that once clusters are assigned we will not be making any changes.
This school year, the Barrington Public School Department will be purchasing student supplies for all of the students. When students arrive at school for the new school year, cluster teachers will be distributing these supplies to the students. There will be no “suggested supply list,” and no need for shopping for school supplies.
Summer Learning Assignments:
Below you will find a link to our summer learning requirements. Middle school students are asked to participate in summer reading and summer math work. Please feel free to reach out to Mrs. Mary Roberts (ELA/Humanities Curriculum Chairemail@example.com) and/or Mr. Jeff Blancet (Math Curriculum Chairfirstname.lastname@example.org) if you have any questions about these assignments.
Summer Learning Assignments for Students Entering Algebra I:
For those students entering Algebra 1 in the fall it is recommended students complete the following practice problems.
