BMS 8th Grade Dental Screening
Dr. Theodore Drummond D.M.D., dentist for the Barrington Public Schools, will be conducting our yearly 8th grade dental screening at BMS on 02/08/23, as required by the Rhode Island Rules and Regulations for School Health Programs. If your child receives routine dental care from a private dentist, your child does not need to participate in the dental screening, however you must submit the dentist name and date of examination on this form to decline the screening. COVID-19 protocols will be followed to ensure safety during screenings.
Thank you, Nurse Maddy
BMS Lost and Found Items:
The BMS lost and found is overflowing! A team of awesome parent volunteers organized the items in our Student Union (cafeteria). Please send your student to check it out if you are missing something! Unclaimed items will be donated on February 1, 2023. Check out the pictures of the items here!

Lions Club Art Award:
Every year, the International Lions Club organization sponsors a Peace Poster contest for middle school-aged students to participate in. This year’s theme was Lead with Compassion; to explore and visually express the peaceful future that compassionate leadership brings. 6th grader, Blakely Hendrick's poster design won first place for the town of Barrington thru the Barrington Lions Club and was sent to regionals where she won second place! Blakely won a certificate, a cash prize, and a t-shirt with her beautiful design on it. Great work Blakely!
